The Dreaded Cropped Shirt

So this shirt (clothes swap $0) has been in my closet, at the bottom of my pile for about three months now and I’ve been dreading the day I would shoot it for my blog (It spares my boobs by about an inch!).

For a while I thought I would toss it but just a few days ago I went into the store LF and saw that they were attempting to sell cropped men’s Hawaiian shirts...so if they can sell those dreadful pieces for $100 plus than I better be able to pull this thing off.

Anyways, I am pairing it with a black romper to cover up what the winter has done to my midsection and I have also added some fabulous chandelier earrings ($3.85 Forever 21) and red lipstick.

Check out my new blog posts for Second Time Around's fashioniSTA

http://www.secondtimearound.net/blog/

This retail/consignment chain is amazing! The most recent post I did was to find looks similar to Reese Witherspoon at the Atrium Mall Store and the types of designers I found were amazing Everything from Jimmy Choo, Prada, Burberry, Chanel, etc.

Rainy Day Boredom

So...what do you do on a Tuesday night when torrential downpour is obliterating the city? Well, I try on all of my weird clothing and see if there is something that can actually be worn around normal people. This oversized cardigan($4 Goodwill) may have been an 80s reject but I think it can work as long as you make sure to downplay the rest of the look...well seeing that I'm wearing studded leggings(Miley Cyrus Collection Wal-Mart $10) with a faux snakeskin clutch(Charitable Heart $7) I don't know that I'm abiding by my own rules...but, Boston may be seeing this in the near future.

My Boyfriend's Closet

I have decided that it was about time I started a blog on my partial closet. Whenever I don't know what to wear, I sift through my boyfriend's section of the closet and end up throwing on one of his oversized sweaters. Now as you can see, some of them are quite vibrant and I know that many men don't have a comparable eye for color but no matter what the pattern is, there is normally something in there that will work. (best of all...its free!)

Pair it with some skinnies and moccasins and girl...you got an outfit.

look for this look when you're out shopping too! At thrift stores it is important to check out the men's section. If you dont check out this area than you are missing out on some of the best pieces. Also, a lot of the smalls and mediums aren't as big as you think.

This category will be a regular thing, but if I start posting myself wearing his pants...please feel free to commit me :)
